The image below won an Award of Merit at the 2014 "Eyesights" open juried photography show sponsored by the Guild of Creative Art in Shrewsbury, New Jersey. The show, which started on Sunday, March 2, runs to April 1 of this year and include many excellent works in color and black and white. The image, which is entitled "Autumn, Loon Lough Lake, County Mayo, Ireland, was taken on my trip to Ireland last September. It is one of three of my images at the show. I was honored to have my work selected to be in the show and was very pleased to win an Award of Merit. This year marked the third I tried to enter the show, but only the first time I was successful. I guess I am getting better!!
