A New Gallery--Shapes and Colors

I have added a new gallery to my lineup. It is entitled "Shapes and Colors" and it contains objects that have caught my eye over the past few years. These are objects that might be part of a larger object, a closeup of something familiar, or just a gush of colors I happened across. They are not a digital manipulation of an object or colors for effect, not that there is anything wrong with that. It's just really not my style. Instead, this gallery contains what I have found to be interesting clashes or juxtapositions of colors and shapes--colors that are bright, muted, evocative, vibrant, and ordinary, and shapes of every description, especially curves, circles, blocks, swiggles and swirls--just a profusion of things. Some are in tension and create anxiety, some evoke calm. I think if I were to take up painting--which is always possible--this is the sort of art I would produce: images that appeal to unfettered and deep emotions, and are not representative of anything except feeling. If you like what you see, please let me know. Like everything else on this site, these images are available for you to purchase.
